Medical didactics
University Hospital Bonn runs the DoT.Med medical didactics program for teaching staff at the Faculty of Medicine. Those interested can study for the NRW Medicine Didactics certificate run by the Landesakademie für Medizinische Ausbildung (LAMA). It has a workload of 120 hours.
This can be followed by study for the NRW Professional Teaching Competence for Universities certificate run by the “Hochschuldidaktik NRW” network. Credit gained from the LAMA certificate and individual workshops completed under the aegis of the Dot.Med program can be transferred to the NRW certificate.

Argelander Competence Center
The Argelander Competence Center provides comprehensive advice and support to early-career researchers. One element of this service is the Doctorate plus certificate open to all doctoral students at the University of Bonn. Credits gained from courses in university didactics run by the BZH can be transferred to this certificate.
Human Resource Development
Human Resource Development provides a range of services to support the professional and personal development of our University teaching staff.”. Credits from workshops focusing on key academic skills can be transferred to the NRW certificate, subject to restrictions.
