Services for Tutors and Mentors
The university didactics courses for tutors and mentors run by the BZH are aimed at students at the University of Bonn with an interest in didactics. We offer interdisciplinary and, if required, supplementary specialist qualifications to equip tutors and mentors with the methodological and teaching skills requisite to their task. We provide advice and support to tutors and mentors in their drive to meet all the (media) didactic challenges which they face within the course of their teaching duties, ranging from pre-courses, mentor programs and subject tutorials to the provision of media didactic support to the University teaching staff.

iPad loans
The Zoom virtual whiteboard is an invaluable visualization tool for digital teaching; it is however, subject to limitations when visualizing tasks which contain special characters and formulae. Tutors not provided with the requisite equipment by their institute/department can borrow Apple iPads, charging units, lightening cables and an iPad stylus at short notice in order to enable them to make full use of the range of Zoom functions and thereby establish their digital tutorials on a professional footing.
The equipment can be obtained via the online-form on Confluence (accessible from BONNET or via VPN).
Christina Treier (née Siemens) is currently on parental leave. Her replacement is Vanessa Alberti.
